Unfortunately, we are only able to receive prescriptions electronically from EPS registered surgeries in England; over 98% of surgeries in England are registered.
We dispense controlled drugs and use a signed for delivery service. If your Controlled Drugs are prescribed on paper prescriptions check with your GP that they are able to post these to us.
You will no longer have to collect your prescription from your GP, instead, your GP can send them electronically to a pharmacy of your choice. You will have more flexibility about where to get your medicines as you can choose any pharmacy who offers EPS.By nominating REMEDI Pharmacy Solutions to receive your NHS prescription(s), you will benefit from our free medicines delivery service across England.
The current NHS prescription charge is £9.90 per item, however certain groups in England are exempt from this charge. You won’t have to pay if you:
- Are under 16
- Are 16, 17 or 18 and in full-time education
- Are 60 years old or over
- Are pregnant or have had a baby in the previous 12 months and have a valid maternity exemption certificate
- Have a specified medical condition and have a valid medical exemption certificate
- Have a specified medical condition and have a valid medical exemption certificate
- Have a valid prescription pre-payment certificate
- Have a valid war payment exemption certificate and the prescription is for your accepted disability
- Are named on a current HC2 certificate
- Are prescribed contraceptivesH – Receive income support or income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Receive Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Are entitled to or named on a valid NHS tax credit exemption certificate
- Have a partner who gets Pension Credit guarantee credit (PCGC)If you are exempt from paying for your NHS prescription(s), please let us know by contacting us – we may also ask you to submit evidence of any exemption before dispensing your medicines. Falsely claiming an exemption will result in a fine should you be investigated by NHS Protect.
Once we receive your NHS prescription, we will contact you by phone to arrange payment. You will pay the standard NHS prescription charge, nothing more.
Once you have nominated Remedi Solutions as your chosen Pharmacy each time you order your medication with your GP the Electronic Prescriptions will be sent to us.
Yes, we will need to have the original paper prescription before we can dispatch your medicines. You can post your prescription to: REMEDI Pharmacy Solutions, 16 Berkley Court, Manor Park, Runcorn, Cheshire, WA71TQ.
Yes, it is still possible for you to use our delivery service. Simply Sign UP to our Website and order your medicines directly with the surgery either by phone, in person or online (subject to availability). We will then download your electronic prescription and we will deliver your medicines to you.
You should order your prescription(s) around seven days before you are due to run out. This will give us and your surgery enough time to process your request, dispense and dispatch your medicines.
As soon as we receive your NHS prescription(s) from your GP, we aim to dispatch your medicines within 2 working days.
For most medicines we are able to use a non-signed for delivery service so you will not have to sign for your medicines. If you have been prescribed a controlled drug, you will be required to sign for your delivery.
